* this week i stepped up my bicycle riding and am now doing 10 miles a day. i've really been taking advantage of Humboldt Park as well as the chicago bike trails. here are some amazing photos of the actual park.
* still haven't figured out twitter. i just know how to 'retweet', but only if there is a retweet link.
* out neighbors have a rooster in a pen in their backyard. not sure if there are hens too. the rooster LOVes to crow from sunrise to sunset. our street is pretty quiet, so it sorta feels like we're in the country- which is nice.
* Scott has started tending to the lawn. the weather has been nice but it's still too early for flowers. i've started watching landscaping & curb appeal type shows for some outside inspiration. also have a gagillion paint swatches for exterior paint.
i would really LOve privacy hedges like these. my question: will they survive a chicago winter? is there a certain type that will?
